The National Broadcasting Society was founded on the campus of Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri in 1941 as Beta Epsilon Phi. In 1943 the name was changed to the National Broadcasting Society when it spread to other colleges and universities and our current Society was born.
NBS is an organization of student and professional members dedicated to excellence in electronic media.
AERho or Alpha Epsilon Rho is the official academic Honor Society of NBS.
